The third trimester is the final straight feeling the baby more and more, if rest during pregnancy is essential, in these last three months is even more important, for this reason it is convenient to lie on the left side and so increase the amount of blood and nutrients that reach the placenta, and of course the baby.

Therefore, you should try to avoid sleeping on your back or on your stomach as it can cause back pain, breathing, etc..

Also, if your feet are swollen, it is advisable to sleep with your legs higher than your body, including keeping your legs and knees bent with a pillow between your legs.
