Naturalia® mattresses in the United States

The folks at Furniture Today conducted an interview with us in which we talked about the presence of Naturalia® in the U.S. Below is the article published by Furniture Today News. ⠀⠀⠀⠀ HOLLYWOOD, Florida. – High-end bedding resource Best Rest is bidding for a national role in the U.S. bedding market. CEO Juan Gonzalez was encouraged to take that step with a retail road trip, visiting retailers in more than a dozen states. “We recently toured 14 states to speak with a variety of buyers of mattresses mid- and high-end mattresses, and they encouraged us to expand our sales force to a national platform,” he said. “As a result, we will be looking for additional sales representatives in the Las Vegas market.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀ The Best Rest line, manufactured in Spain and stocked in the U.S., is receiving good reviews from U.S. retailers, Gonzalez said. “Our slogan is ‘Affordable European Luxury,’ as we have positioned our products at a price point well below that of competitors in the luxury market and include materials that offer a unique sleep experience,” he said. The main product lines include the Prive and Natur models, which feature silk, cashmere, mohair, wool, organic cotton, natural latex, natural memory foam and pocket springs. These lines feature designs with more than 85% natural materials, and all products carry the highest level of Oeko-Tex® certifications on 100% of their materials. The beds designed to outlast most competitors naturally repel bed bugs and dust mites, the company said. ⠀⠀⠀⠀ The high-end Prive model, with a topper at retail, sells for about $10,300 and the King Prive model sells for $11,750 with the topper. The topper retails for $999 and can be purchased separately. The most customizable model in the Best Rest line is the Lux by Naturalia®. It has a 12.5-inch profile and up to a 45-day comfort guarantee. “If the consumer wants to change the comfort inserts to be softer or firmer, they can contact us directly and we will make the change at no further expense to the consumer,” Gonzalez said. That mattress model sells for $5,999. Introductory luxury models, including the Thermovisco mattress at $2,188 and the Quietud mattress at $3,408. ⠀⠀⠀⠀ Lux by Naturalia uses cashmere, organic cotton, bamboo and soy-based memory foams, with soy components comprising more than 50% of the foam. The line features a cool and warm zippered side, and a washable topper. Five comfort options are offered: soft, medium, firm and firm-plus, and extra-firm. Consumers can request different levels of the comfort inserts within 45 days if they want a change, the company said.

Best Rest did a soft launch of some of its bedding lines in the summer of 2019 at Las Vegas Market and is now set to relaunch those lines and two new models at this week’s Las Vegas Market. Gonzalez says Best Rest has several advantages over its competitors. “We offer European luxury, the highest soy content in our foams in the U.S., the highest Oeko-Tex® certifications on 100% of our materials, we are stocked on the East Coast and our prices are well below our competitors for comparable products. We are truly an attainable luxury.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀ Best Rest is the sales and marketing arm of Naturalia® Spain, a family business started in 1966 and located near Madrid, specifically in Ugena (Toledo). “With a physical capacity of millions of square meters, Naturalia® has some of the largest and most modern production facilities in Europe and has become one of the leaders in the European and Asian markets,” Gonzalez said. And now those luxury bedding lines are ready to help U.S. bedding retailers drive business, in addition to Naturalia® mattresses in the United States, he added.
