A mattress lasts a long time, that goes without saying, but when asked about sustainable products, few would probably say that a mattress is one of them. Well, it is, for the mere fact of its durability. The Spanish Bed Association<\/a> (ASOCAMA) recommends changing mattresses<\/strong> within a maximum period of 10 years. Do you know what happens when a person renews his or her sleeping equipment<\/strong>? Where do the mattresses go or where do they go? A large part of the mattresses are removed by the manufacturers when the new merchandise is taken to the customer and others are deposited by the customer himself at collection points. But there is another reality in which users use the mattresses<\/strong> they remove from their master bedroom for their second homes or guest rooms. The reuse of sleeping equipment<\/strong> within the same family unit is a reality. This makes the useful life of the mattress<\/strong> longer, making the mattress not only a highly durable product, but also a product with a low environmental impact compared to other consumer durables.
